COVID-19 Audience Safety Plan

All patrons will be required to be masked and vaccinated for amber. We are joining other local organizations – including Seattle Repertory Theatre, 5th Avenue Theatre, ACT, Seattle Symphony, and Pacific Northwest Ballet – in requiring masks and proof of vaccination or negative COVID test to ensure the safety and successful return of Seattle arts.

Those individuals unable to be fully vaccinated must have proof of a negative COVID PCR test (taken within 72 hours of your amber timeslot). Washington Ensemble members will check for proof of vaccination and negative COVID PCR test at the doors as a condition of entry. Additionally, masking is required inside the venue.

The following are acceptable as proof of full vaccination:

  • Vaccination card (which includes name of person vaccinated, type of vaccine provided, and date last dose administered) OR
  • a photo of vaccination card as a separate document OR
  • a photo of the attendee’s vaccine card stored on a phone or electronic device OR
  • documentation of vaccination from a healthcare provider electronic health record or state Immunization Information System record.
  • Matching photo ID required at the door

Self-reported vaccination records that are not verified by a health care provider cannot be accepted.

The following are acceptable as proof of a negative COVID-19 test result (for those with medical or religious exemptions):

  • Printed document (from the test provider or laboratory) OR
  • an email or text message displayed on a phone or electronic device from the test provider or laboratory.
  • The information provided should include name of person tested, type of test performed, and date of negative test result (date of negative PCR test result must be within 72 hours of your amber timeslot).
  • Matching photo ID required at the door

Self-reported negative test results that are not from a test provider, a laboratory, or a health care provider cannot be accepted.

Additional protocols:

  • Audiences will be encouraged to practice social distancing by maintaining a comfortable physical distance from one another while indoors.
  • Patrons exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19, or who have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 within 2 weeks prior to their arrival, are asked not to attend.
  • Patrons exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms upon arrival will be denied entry.
  • If you cannot attend a performance due to illness, email boxoffice@washingtonensemble.org to exchange your reservation or to convert your ticket to a tax-deductible donation.

Please be advised that this protocol is subject to change and Washington Ensemble Theatre reserves the right to revise safety requirements at the discretion of the producers and venue.
