SCRAMBLING THE GOOSE

It’s the Goose you know and love, now with fresh eggs! A veritable gaggle of actors take the stage in a generative-palooza show with no holds barred, and no geese un-honked. 30 pieces in 90 minutes. All written, performed, and directed by our unstoppable Goose cast. Goose may seem to be an echo of our production last year, but it takes the idea and churns out an entirely new show with new actors, directors, writers, and perspectives.

 

ABOUT THIS PRODUCTION

Scrambling the Goose runs exactly 90 minutes with no intermission.

Audience members are encourgaed to arrive early to take advantage of our pre-show carnival.

There will be light audience interaction.

Content Warnings (Spoilers!)

Flashing lights, simulated sexual intimacy, implied racial trauma, implied smoking and drinking, mentions of drug use, mentions of suicide, mentions of familial trauma, mentions of disordered eating.

CAST

Sean Hendrickson (he/him)

 

performer, director, and game designer with a deep love for interactive and responsive performance. Alongside his work as an ensemble member with WET, he is also a producing staff member for Dacha Theatre. Sean holds a B.F.A. in Theatre Performance from the University of Idaho, and studied with the Moscow Art Theatre during their 2015 intensive program. You may have seen him onstage in the previous Scrambling the Goose (WET), Hells Canyon (WET), A Midsummer DICE Dream (Dacha Theatre), or at any tabletop in Seattle rolling dice and slinging spells as Carpe DM (carpedmgames.com).

Sasha Bailey (she/sir)

Sasha Bailey is a playwright, director, and performer with a penchant for interdisciplinary performance. Interests include: Magical realism, controlled chaos, and various gummy candies. You can catch Sasha’s alter-ego, Glambrosia Salad, gadding about town and making a polite mess on stages across the city.

 

Rhys Daly (He/They)

is thrilled to be returning to the WET stage to scramble with the best of them! He was previously seen on the WET stage in last season’s production of Hell’s Canyon. Other credits include The Great Gatsby (Noveltease Theatre), Camelot (Village Theatre), Squeeze (UMO with Seattle Public Theatre), and Anyone Can Whistle (Reboot Theatre Company). When not on stage, he can be found at a coffee shop furiously memorizing lines, figuring out how to sew something simple using a difficult fabric, or editing his next poetry collection. @jellicletrash

 

 

Neely Seams

A Seattle-based actor from West Virginia. She is so excited to be a part of this amazing production! She has played characters such as Lizzie Darcy in Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley with Greenbrier Valley Theater, Cassie in The Grown-Ups with Dacha Theater, an Kameeka in Hula-Hoopin Queen at Seattle Children’s Theater. She is also a Teaching Artist with South End Stories where she teaches acting and design through an anti-racist and trauma-informed lens. Enjoy the show! @seams2bneely

 

 

James Lee (he/they)

A Seattle-based actor, singer, and violinist, and he is so thrilled to scramble the goose in his WET debut! Recent acting credits include Kenji in Exotic Deadly (SIS Productions, Pork Filled Productions), David in Here and Their (Jazzie Rae Productions), Ivan Homeless in The Master and Margarita (Dacha Theatre), and Toby in Hotdish (Pony World Theatre). He is a company member of Pony World Theatre and Dacha Theatre, seeking out art that explores vulnerability, playfulness, and queerness. Outside of acting, James enjoys freestyle choreography, short fiction writing, and being gay. Much love to Erik, the Gaggle, adventure time, and many other friends who keep him grounded and buoyant. Rebekah Nachman (she/her)

is honored to be making her WET debut as a part of this powerhouse ensemble! She is an actor, singer, director, teaching artist, and elementary educator. Most recently seen on stage as Frankie in GOLD at Annex Theatre, her other credits include C’mon Get Tappy (Second Story Rep), Safe Hands (Seattle Public Theatre), 110 In the Shade (Reboot Theatre), The Tempest (Seattle Rep Public Works), Juke Joint Jukebox (ReAct Theatre), and more. She’s very active in the Seattle Indie film scene and dreams of being a mysterious Jazz club singer on the weekends.

Monty Rozema (they/them)

Is a queer multidisciplinary artist born and raised on the unceded lands of the Duwamish and Coast Salish peoples (Seattle, Washington). They are a music lover, writer, teaching artist, performer, designer, and administrator. They have worked locally with The 5th Avenue Theatre, Taproot Theatre Company, Reboot Theatre Company, and Washington Ensemble Theatre, where they are a proud company member and resident designer. They have written for The Ugly Radio, bestcolleges.com, great weather for MEDIA, F3LL MagazineMag 20/20Prismatica, and many more. In 2021, their LGBTQ+ short story “Apple” was nominated for a Pushcart Prize.

Amber Tanaka (they/ them)

Amber has been performing new works, old works, and works-in-progress around Seattle for the past decade or so. They’ve been honored to work with ACT, Seattle Children’s Theatre, 18th & Union, Intiman, Horse in Motion, Pork Filled Productions, and of course WET. They look to break expectations anywhere they can. When they aren’t performing perhaps they are creating installation art, or wandering a mountain. Amber completed thier BFA at Cornish and R.A.D.A. in 2018, and now works at The Allen Institute. Thankful to be here, but mostly thankful you’re here! @amberrose2

Aaron Lussier (he/him)

is ecstatic to be making his WET, and scripted theatre, debut as a part of the Scrambling the Goose ensemble.  He is a current member of the Jet City Improv Ensemble. Recent credits include Cabaret Roulette and Hex & the City at CSz Seattle, as well as the ‘24 & ‘25 run of The Emerald City Slasher. He has studied improv in Seattle at Unexpected Productions and in Chicago at The Annoyance Theatre. Aaron believes character is most often discovered through unique physicality. In his free time, he enjoys cooking new dishes and striving to perfect the deviled egg.

Maddy Nibble (they/them)

is hyped as shit to be a part of this Goose. They have worked with many theaters in Seattle including Seattle Shakespeare Company, Macha Theatre Works, Annex, and 18th & Union (among others) as a performer, writer, and producer. 

You’ve also heard them on the Ugly Radio. When they’re not in a theatre somewhere, they’re at a dog park or planning weddings. All my love to fronds, fambly, squad, the polycule, and Apollo the SunDog. Hi, Mama

 

Priya Hendry (she/her)

Is a performer, stage manager, teaching artist, and generally a believer that theater has the power to make and change worlds. She holds a BA from the University of Washington in Drama: Performance and Law, Societies, and Justice, and is willing to talk your ear off about the intersections between the two! Other things she loves include cats, getting lost in a good book, and afternoons spent outside in the sun.

Tendril “Ten” Noreen (they/them)

Is a multidisciplinary theatre artist influenced by styles of viewpoints, improv, clown, comedy, horror, and surrealism. Ten is a teaching artist and ensemble member at Jet City Improv, where you may have seen them performing in the long-form horror comedy The Emerald City Slasher, hosting the monthly Queer Show, or appearing in Jet City’s recent book-themed hit, Page Turner. They hold a BA in Theatre from Pacific Lutheran University, where they directed two plays and served on the student-produced theatre board. When not doing theatre, Tendril can be found cooking elaborate meals for friends, birdwatching, or mending clothes at the Queen Anne Repair Cafe.
