WHAT’S NEW

HELLS CANYON

By Keiko Green

Directed by Amber Tanaka

SEP 5 – SEP 21 | 12TH AVE ARTS

Ariel Lim, seven months pregnant, arrives at a remote cabin with a handful of old friends. Resentments surface and buried histories claw their way into the light, when the group hears something outside—trying to get in… or out? In this horror-thriller, there are some decisions you cannot outrun.

Hell’s Canyon is a reclaiming of our narrative, stories featuring Asian bodies (especially on stage) have long been the purview of white men—Madama Butterfly, Miss Saigon, and the ever-popular South Pacific, in this show we subvert that narrative.
